The Olympus is Shell’s state-of-the art platform designed to operate in the Gulf of Mexico’s deep water and is the largest of its kind in the world. It is designed to operate in 5,000 ft of water and produce 100,000 barrels of oil a day. Hi-Tech Electric helped complete the 4 story living quarters which included rooms for 192 occupants, kitchens, fitness rooms, high tech control rooms, and an onsite medical facility. It was an 18 month project completed in Corpus Christi, TX and shipped to the Mars B project south of New Orleans.
