The Ellington Field Armed Forces Reserve Center consists of 7 buildings totaling over 210,000 sq ft where Army, Navy and Marine Reserve units train and drill for deployment overseas. The buildings are used for training, recruiting, weapons and equipment storage, and vehicle maintenance. The project included all of the medium voltage site distribution as well as the security, fire alarm, and telecom systems. Hi-Tech Electric was involved from the very beginning in a design assist role that allowed us to control cost, optimize design and maintain schedule.
